Who do they have that we would want? The ONLY possibility would be for their 1st round pick next year, assuming LeBron doesn't go back to Cleveland. This also gives some method to the madness of bringing in Ridnour. Strange, but it matches up at least.
Unless, of course, its a sign-and-trade for LeBron. We can still dream, can't we?
EDIT: From ESPN Insider. Redundent, but here it is.
The Cavs may be sweating out LeBron James' announcement on Thursday night, but that doesn't mean they aren't working the phones.
From Brian Windhorst of the Cleveland Plain Dealer on Twitter: "Sources: Cavs are in trade talks with Minnesota Timberwolves for PG Jonny Flynn. Flynn is represented by LeBron's agent and LRMR. Cavs have been looking at guards that will help them run. Also, Flynn is tight with LRMR member Rich Paul, who recruited him."
It's likely Delonte West would be sent back in such a deal. His contract for next season is non-guaranteed, which could generate more money for the Wolves to work with if they release him.
Such trade talks might also explain why the Wolves reportedly met with free agent Luke Ridnour on Wednesday.
