Slightly intoxicated by the euphoria of a win last night has brought me to the point of having fun with a little trade proposal. Unfortunately the Trade Machine is blocked from my work, so I'm not sure this will all work, but here is the basic idea...I know the love for Beasley runs deep on this board, and I am hard pressed to give him up right now, but I thought I would throw this out there to see what people thought of the idea. Please don't waste your energy with scathing remarks, I'm just trying to have a little fun.
Ok, so here we go for real...
Philly has been playing a little better as of late, and probably wouldn't drop Iggy for cap space, but what about something like this...
Out: Beas, Brewer, Telfair, and KK
In: Wallace, Iggy, and first round pick
In: Beas, Brewer, Telfair, and KK
Out: Wallace and first round pick
In: Cap space
We could then flip 1 of our (then) 4 first round picks for someone like AR to replace Koufos as a big.
Probably resign Sundita Gains as a 3rd PG.
Brewer's defense is replaced by Iggy.
Beasley's scoring is replaced by Wallace.
We have lots of athleticism behind Love (Tolliver/AR)
The wings are a little older (Iggy/Wallace), but we'd have time for the youth to grow behind them (Wes/Webster).
Depth chart for next year would then be...
And 3 first round picks.
Thanks for reading.
