A question for the group: Could Rubio sign a contract with the Wolves with a clause that terminates his contract for a year if there is a labor-management stoppage? Then he can sign away and not worry about a lockout, which would be the biggest rational reason not to come. 

Kahn is the master lawyer, after all. I'm still impressed that he drafted the other guy on Rubio's team (Henk Norel?) so he could also buy him out and get that team more money.
