Would you do this trade for Kevin Martin?
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7efrvoq
The wolves acquire Martin, but we'd have to give up Beasley, Ridnour, and Wes.I think Ridnour has to go since we acquired barea, wes would be replaced by martin, and this trade frees up space for DWill at SF. I also wouldn't be against adding Tolliver to this trade.
This would give us a lineup of:
Rubio, Barea
Martin, Webster, Lee, Ellington
DWill, Webster
Love, Randolph, DWill, Tolliver
Randolph, Love, Tolliver, Darko

???? People need to stop
Kevin Martin is not worth that. He is old. Gets Paid too much and is hurt all the time. On top of that he plays no defense. Why do wolves fans on this site get attached to old over paid players?
Because we are sick
of having young, correctly paid players who lose every game.

You may be on to something.

Because we need a scorer who can score efficiently, as well as score high volume. Currently we have beasley who can score high volume after taking a ridiculous number of shots, and Love who is not meant to be a featured scorer, I’m not saying Kevin Martin is that guy, but he is our best chance.
Is Charlie Sheen available?
Wait . . . he’s a warlock. Are they the same thing?

Old?... and always hurt?!
He’s 28 years old, that’s how old Jordan was when he won his first championship of his first 3-peat, and 35 when he won his last of 6 championships. Hurt?… He played 80 games last year, Wes Johnson, whom he would replace, played in 79 last year? You should check your info before you start criticizing people. You make yourself look like an idiot! He also averages a steal per game, which ranks him 18th out of 40 ranked shooting guards, I wouldn’t call that NO defense.
Ifuonlyknew
I would do that
And most any other combination of TWolves hodgepodge not named Rubio, Love or Williams for a scoring wing or dominant center.

Williams is a unknown
you can always find a scoring wing in draft. I say find another player that is cheaper
I agree.
We give up 3 non-essential players, and get a scoring wing who posted a PER of 21.9 and led the league (tied with Durant) on free throw attempts. Worth it from any perspective.

But do you think
the Rockets would agree to a deal like this?
I'm not ready to give up on Beas

unless of course mcfail wants him

I would prefer to only give up either Beasley or Wes (and my preference is Beasly)
But I kind of feel like if you can get a sub-all star like Martin for anyone not named Love/Williams/Rubio I think you do it.
I reeeallly think Wes will be a very solid starter and a guy team’s like the Thunder will want in their rotation in a few years….but he did have a pretty below average rookie season and is older
I don't know what an art house is, I don't know what goes on in an art house, I have never been in an art house, and I can't imagine it's any place I ever want to be.
I have a trade idea...
Who would trade Wes Johnson, Michael Beasely, and Luke Ridnour to New Orleans for Emeka Okafor, and Eric Gordon?
Ifuonlyknew
Not New Orleans?

As mentioned elsewhere
I wonder if the new dream target would be Eric Gordon. He needs a new contract soon and may not want to wait around while NOL bottoms out.

Yes Please
A highly efficient shooting guard who plays mediocre defense? I’ll take it 10/10
No Way!
Much rather try it with Wes and Beasley. I would trade Wes, Ridnour, and Pek though. Martin is a big enough upgrade that we can give up our third string PG and third string Center to swap SG. Wes is 24, Martin is 28.
