Somebody has to
I'm going to start this out by saying I am more than excited to watch this timberwolves team play together this season. From watching wes' sweet stroke behind the ark and his ridiculously long arms raise above the rim for highlight reel dunks, rubio's European handles and out of nowhere alley-oops to our new under armour spokesman Derrick Williams and late season addition anthony Randolph, to Kevin love looking to break last season's double double streak and unreal rebounding numbers.
But, somebody has to bring it up, and every team in the NBA should consider it.. Dealing for chris Paul and Dwight Howard. We can put together a fairly good package for both with all the assets we have collected in the past few years. They might not be the best trade proposals out there, but you also have to consider the fact that even if another team has a better offer on the table Paul or Howard may not want to sign an extension with that team hense taking that better offer off the table. So let's do this.
MN: chris Paul NO: Rubio, Beasley, Darko, Wes
MN: Dwight howard Orlando: pek, love, Wayne, future 1st and 2nd
Our lineup: Paul, Webster, Williams, Randolph, Howard Bench: ridnour, tolliver, miller, lee, midlevel exception
I think that is a decent offer for both and they would be tempted to sign an extension with us since they have each other, cap space next year for another possible fringe all star, young studs in Williams and Randolph. I'm just saying, it looks pretty good on paper. Do I think it will happen? No. Are we a destination either player would choose? No. Is that the best offer we or another team could put together? No. But, it might be the best out there that would entice both them to sign an extension and their team enough return to accept the trade. I have a feeling this will bring some negative feedback seeing as how we are all looking forward to watching OUR wolves play. Just saying it looks good on paper, really good.
What does CH nation have to say about it (or anything wolves related really)?

MN isn't an easy destination to sell to FA these days
But that roster might entice the two of them to sign an extension. As long as they meet with Adelman and Taylor instead of Kahn, they could be persuaded I think.

i'd rather keep who we got
i’m digging who we’re working w right now and am too hopeful that they’ll improve.
also, i kinda like being the underdog/s.
one of these days things’ll click and we’ll have a legit team. seems sooner than later, especially with Adelman runnin the show.
The whole post was blind optimism
I guess.. I just can’t wait to watch that first game!

Kahn Says they're not makeing any big moves ...
and I believe him. It’s intriguing thinking about the moves that could be made, but honestly trades talk on this sight is just talk anyway. I also really like the group that we have now. I think what we will see is Kahn and Adelman finding a pretty good veteran player. Maybe move someone to balance the roster a little bit. Who knows though. I wouldn’t mind the wolves trying to better the roster via trade. I don’t think the answer is chris paul though. Howard would be more my kinda deal. Not sure if that one would do it though.

"Kahn says..."
Stopped reading there!
Just kidding, but seriously, this guy lies like no other.
Jonny Flynn being special? Lie
Darko being.. well more than Darko? Lie
Rambis staying for the full 4 years and giving him the opportunity to fail? Lie
Anyone other than Rick Adleman being a serious contender for our head coach? Lie
Using our trade exemption to make a splash? Lie
Wesley Johnson being the better, “player” than DeMarcus Cousins? Lie
Michael Beasley learning his lesson and no more pot smoking? Lie
The only true comment he has ever made is that the NBA Draft Lottery is rigged, it most definitely is.
I guess we also got to see Rubio in a Wolves uni so I’ll give him that one for now too.
wow, I'm pretty sure the lottery is a lottery ....
and all of those things you mentioned are opinions, not lies …
We can think about all of the trades we want. Make our own little dream teams. In the end we are going to have to cheer for the team that Kahn puts together or be disappointed fans.

They are things he said that aren't true
He does that a lot, opinions or “facts”

I'm not sure you understand what "lie" means.
You can make a strong argument for Kahn being incompetent, but you can’t really characterize a kool-aid-drinking, overly-optimistic statement as a “lie”. You can say he was “wrong” or “stupid” but most of those aren’t really “lies”.
That Dwight offer is putrid.
"We're not talking about me and Darko in the same sentence." - Chris Webber vs KAHN!
Who is Orlando getting for Dwight that is as good as Love?
Or, as modestly paid (currently)?

I thought it was a good offer
Not as good as he is worth, but pretty good. Much better than the Nets’ deal with Lopez and a couple firsts. The lakers have a good piece with Bynum, but he has an injury history, more expensive and kind of a head case. The clips have a nice deal with Jordan and gordon, they could outbid us or make us up the offer.

Do not do this trade.
I think this would never happen, but the other big thing that makes it distasteful is that it basically blows up our team and starts over once again. We can’t just blow up our team every year. At some point we have to hold on to a few assets and build around them. Love seems like a player that we can build around. There are a few other guys that we have acquired that could be long term solutions. We will see. But to just trade away the whole team, even for a couple of superstars, it probably wouldn’t work, and then we will just blow up the team again next year! Enough is enough.
You have to have something to blow up.
A team with Chris Paul and Dwight Howard wins 50, guaranteed, if they stay healthy.
