There was a truehoop article by Adande proposing an NHL-style divisional restructuring wherein 4 divisions play almost exclusively and then re-seed as the playoffs progress to prevent the most competitive games from happening too soon. I assume everybody would be down with having midwest divisions and rivalries making more sense for the Wolves. This, combined with the rumors of CP3 and Dwight potentially creating more of a talent consolidation, lock-out schedules eliminating sure-fire sellouts from fly-over arenas would make it seem like the lock-out never happened. Seems like you might as well restructure the divisions based on market size. I'm feeling very 99% about all this. Would it make sense as long as Chicago were included in Minnesota's division?
