Since the Trading Deadline is one of the Four Annual Major Scheduled Holidays* for Timberwolves fans, it seems that we should at least pretend that the Wolves and other teams are going to be active wheeler-dealers over the next few days, and therefore there should be a place for CHers to weigh in on the various rumors and speculation.

*The other regular Holidays are : The Drawing of the Lottery Ping Pong Balls, The Disappointing Draft, and The Merciful End of the Season.

The '"First round pick for Anthony Randolph" seems to be a matter of "when," not "if." It may also include 400 pound post player Eddie Curry, some cash, and perhaps Sebastian Telfair.  The Wolves have been mentioned as a potential destination for Troy Murphy, but probably only because the team is one of the few that can take back the contract, without sending away one of a similar size. Former fan favorites Josh Childress and Marvin Williams appear to be available, but ability and cost are likely to preclude the Wolves from going after either.
