So we know fan created trades almost never happen, but in the world of make believe this is how we would turn the trade deadline into an absolute home run. Minnesota trades Pekovic and Martel Webster or Wes Johnson plus the Jazz and Memphis picks and $3 million in cash to Houston for Kevin Martin.
Minnesota gets the scoring 2 guard it needs and doesn't really add much salary with Pekovic and Webster on deals for as long as Martin.
Houston gets a back up center with legit size and some potential, a 2-3 who can shoot the three in either Johnson or Webster, some salary and lux tax saving with Webster and more with Johnson, two mid first rounders and cash.
Taylor doesn't have to really shell out much more cash once we factor in the out going salaries, years on those contract and guaranteed money to the two mid first rounders.
Does this happen? Probably not, but I'd at least tempt Morey with a center, picks and cash.
