Color me surprised. For a team that was so careful / panicky about the Tyson Chandler trade a couple years back, it's notable that they're extending Perk before he even sees the floor for the team. You can argue it's a risk worth taking, but even injuries aside, I would've thought they'd want to see if he fits as well on the court as he does on paper. Not sure what the hurry was on this one...
