Whew! That was a close one! But, it's still Friday, so there's still some time to discuss and dissect all that is good and true about the Minnesota Timberwolves. And we've got a lot to cover this week!
Let us get it popping with a look at young rookie Wes Johnson, who over the last five games is averaging 15 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal, in 34 minutes per game. I KNEW if we just gave him time, he would come around!
Speaking of coming around, how about Jonny Flynn, who over the same five games is averaging 5.6 assists per game, in just 18 minutes per game on the court. As sure as I was about Wes, I was even more smitten with Jonny from the moment he was drafted, and have been thoroughly convinced ever since.
Flynn and Wes have a new junior partner on the team in the form of Anthony Randolph, who scored more points for the Wolves against Detroit on Wednesday night than he did for the Knicks in December, January, and February.
Also, Kevin Love!
Okay, Surly you have more undeniable Truths about the Wolves which will lift our spirts--what say you?
