Rambis's pre-game interview before the game with Houston last night was almost the equal of David Kahn's appearance earlier in the day. He had his chance to answer many of the same questions Kahn had tackled. (Their relationship? "Uhm... It's businesslike.")
Definitely a must see for those waiting on one or more axes to fall. Pretty difficult watching, though.

There is a tide in the affairs of men.
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures.

It is when we are unsure that we are doubly sure. – RN

When asked about whether he'll be around next season
did he really say that he reacts to things as they come?
Uhhhh…. we’ve got two full seasons of coaching that would imply the exact opposite. More like, wait until events come, process them extremely slowly, react poorly.
3 weeks after he is fired I expect him to come out and say some…. ‘fun’ things about Kahn and the ‘opportunity’ he received here.

I disagree
Reacts to things as the come is a good description of his coaching philosophy.
Practice end-of-game situations before they happen? That’s silly, I just react to things as they come. I mean, really, who can say if there is going to be an “end-of-game” situation? I’ve heard that some games, hell, some seasons, never end. After all, you don’t know that you have an opportunity to hit a game-winning shot until you have the opportunity to hit a game-winning shot!
