Currently the only teams that can make trades are the ones not in the playoffs. Thus, I've been perusing the other lottery team's rosters to see who we could potentially target.
Premise: Love is only potentially traded for a superstar +, everyone else is trade-able, especially Darko, Flynn, Pekovic and the pieces that might actually net us something A.R., Tolliver, Beasley, Ridnour and Rubio. Since I don't think a deal for a superstar will happen I'm looking for more average players that we could more realistically land.
Premise #2: Between Love, A.R, Tolliver and Bealey we are set at the 4 and should not trade for any PFs.
Premise #3: Between Wes, Webster and Beasley we are set at the #3 and trading for SFs is not a priority.
Premise #4: Who knows if Rubio will be here next year; he has had a couple of rough years so dealing him might be possible but is not a high priority unless we land Irving.
Premise #5: My general rule for inclusion is WP48 >= 0.100 and MP >= 1000 though this is not a hard and fast rule.
Reminder: PER of 15 is an average player, WP48 of .100 is an average player.
I've only listed first round picks here.
Team: Cleveland Cavaliers
Record: 19-63
Projected Draft Picks: #2, #8 (from LAC)
Notable Players:
| Name | Position | PER | WP48 | WS48 | contract$ | contract length |
| Ramon Sessions | PG | 19.0 | 0.189 | 0.099 | $3,964,320 | 2 years |
| Anderson Varejao | C | 15.2 | 0.172 | 0.105 | $7,281,818 | 4 years |
| Alonzo Gee | SG | 11.1 | 0.119 | 0.052 | $641,141 | 1 years |
Notable exclusions: Baron Davis (salary),
Personal Synopsis:
-Ramon has already played for us and I'd rather have one of Irving/Ridnour and Luke is a serviceable backup.
-Varejao is an intriguing target based on his defensive presence and reasonable salary.
-Gee was not nearly as good in aditional minutes in 2010 as he was his rookie year (only 118mp) and has also been signed and waived by us once already. He would not be a target for me so much as maybe someone I might try to get tacked onto a Varejo trade for a second look.

Notable exclusions: John Wall (not a realistic trade target), Rashard Lewis (position), Othyus Jeffers (tiny sample size ), Trevor Booker (position, espn for some reason lists him as a C)
Personal Synopsis:
- Since he's on his rookie salaries I would love to take McGee off their hands, and they have need at SF but I highly doubt they bite.

Notable exclusions: Omri Casspi(position)
Personal Synopsis:
-Dalembert costs way too much
-I would give Thompson a look just to save money on some of our guys though he hasn't yet shown the defensive acumen that I would like he has a decent TS, low usage% and low TO%
-Thorton would be a reasonable target but I'm not sure what we'd give for him.
-No thanks on Udrih unless it's just to make salaries match.

I left Prince in despite position just due to the amount of clamoring for him that went on last year. I think he's over the hill but could see him being useful if we move 2 of Wes, Webster, Beasley.
Personal Synopsis:

-Foster would be a decent vet to add since he has shown an ability to play 20 quality minutes a night.
-I doubt we can get our hands on Collison
-Doesn't it burn that we could have had George (essentially) for Flynn last year?
-In short the Pacers core is solid and I doubt we can secure any of them with our poor chips though I would give serious thought to Rubio + 20th pick for Collison + George though It all depends on what the league thinks of Ricky.
