How very typical of the Wolves.

Every sports team in MN, college and pro, have been jumping off of the WCCO train for their radio coverage.  I mean, every team... Twins, Gophers, etc.  Today, the Wild, the last big local team on WCCO announced that they were heading for KFAN.

The Wolves, at the same time, announce that they were making their new home on WCCO.  Because, you know, when it isn't good enough for anyone else, it's time for the Wolves to give it a try.

This is posted as a joke and not a critique at the good folks that work for WCCO.  It is more a critique of the general operating approach of the Wolves.  In fact, this is probably a good business move for the Wolves.  WCCO is a solid station and signal, and the Wolves will be their primary sports offering.  Let's just hope that the Wolves don't pick any other reclamation projects.
