Set your Betamax or VHS recorders for Saturday night

The NIKE Hoop Summit will be broadcast on Fox Sports North at 9:30 p.m. This game is between a select group of USA high schoolers, and youngsters from the rest of the world.

There are several prospects on the US team who will be interesting to watch. But since five of the ten are going to Duke or Kentucky, and the rest are going to Syracuse, Washington, Florida, Memphis, or North Carolina, I'm guessing you'll get a chance to see them on the TV during the next year. And then you'll get to wince when you realize that the Clippers will likely be drafting the best of the bunch with the pick they'll receive from the Wolves.

What might be more appealing is the foreign team, including Bismack Biyombo and Lucas Riva Nogueira.

Here's what DraftExpress is saying about Biyombo in Portland:

If ESPN had a camera at this scrimmage, Bismack Biyombo 's blocks and dunks would make up half of Sportcenter's Top-10 plays tonight.

Lucas is known as "Bebe," and although he's even more interesting as a player, he appears to be a ways away from NBA-ready:

Lucas Nogueira really struggling. Looks out of place, getting outhustled by Biyombo. Extremely raw on both ends of floor. Long-term project.

Anywhoo, it might be our best chance to check out the foreigners against future NBA players. Enjoy!
