It's that time of year again. My offseason plan!

My [hopefully] somewhat realistic scenario this year for our offseason. I don't know how the money will work out (probably won't), but this is the skeleton of my plan. The part I won't get into is that I also think we should get a new coach. But we all know that already!

For starters the C position: Throw gobs of money at Marc Gasol. Throw less money at DeAndre Jordan. Make Darko keep his word on the gentleman's agreement.

PG: Bring in Rubio. Make Flynn take Darko's gentleman's agreement. Send the #2, Luke, Pekovic, and Wes to Phoenix for #13 (or a future first if they'd rather. I'd prefer that since they are rebuilding anyways), Nash, and Childress.

SG: I already got rid of Wes and took Childress (a 2/3 more than a pure 2).

SF: I'm not too versed on the draft this year, but I'd like a SF or SG with our pick(s). Maybe package both picks to move up for Burks?

That's all. Nice and simple... ok well not really simple. Getting Nash and Gasol (and Rubio) will be anything but simple.

Our lineup:

PG: Nash/Rubio (with Rubio starting as the backup, but playing the majority of minutes)
SG: Childress/Burks/Webster
SF: Beasley/Webster/Childress/Randolph
PF: Love/Randolph/Beasley
C: Gasol/Jordan/Randolph/Love

We'd still have too few minutes to go around, but we'd also have enough assets (kind of: Jonny, Wayne, couple euros, Lazar, and mostly Tolliver) left over to make another move to solidify our wing spots, especially at the deadline if Burks doesn't seem to be panning out (this particular part of the scenario assumes no lockout... as does the Nash part, actually...).
