Wow Wiz fans overvalue JVM

They think JeVale straight up for #2 is a fair deal?! One person commented and said that the Wizards should also recieve pick 20 too?! Did JVM suddenly start averaging 20 pts 10 reb and 3 blks a night?? Ive heard the saying on here about teams value their players more than other teams would be seriously I dont think anyone would think that is a decent deal. There were some good comments saying the Wolves would want more than a straight up swap but some other fans just denied that being worth their time.
JVM is a consistent player but I dont see him as anything more than a more productive Ryan Hollins. Unless we can get more value back then theres no point in trying to get him Kahn will get better offers.

Ryan Hollins is Ryan Hollins
Because he’s not a productive at all NBA Player. In fact he’s been one of the worst players in the league- the last few seasons. Where as Javale McGee is younger and probably an average player. I would actually give the Number 2 Pick for Javale on the basis of his numbers if I thought of him as a great defender rather Shot-Blocker. His low BBIQ though prevents me for signing off on such a move.

They overvalue him;
But sometimes we overvalue our players. Beasley for McGee, like mentioned directly below this, would never get the deal done. McGee is worth more than Beasley. I think we undervalue McGee, and what a solid center can bring to the table, but they overvalue him, and act like he’s Dwight Howard. There is a middle grounds here, and that’s where I stand…
#2, Webster, Darko for #6, McGee would be fair, IMO
We all overrate our own players
Think about how many times Beasley or Flynn or Darko gets named in a trade proposal on this otherwise fantastic site? Like other teams are dying to give us their high draft picks to pick up the dregs or headcases from a 17 win team. Just part of a sports message board and and it’s what makes the internet gosh darn fun, along with porn and what appear to be very legitimate business proposals from royalty in Nigeria
