It's too bad they coun't win it in Dallas.
That place was crickets.
I thought there were a considerable amount of Dallas fans there
Everything in the computer need my face on it. Mega Gigabytes, son!
Yeah, I'm sure they aren't compliaining.
But whenever a team wins it on the road i always feel bad for the fans. Imagine what the AA center would be like right now…
Yeah, I agree. That would've been sweet.
But it was fun watching the Heat fans leave early in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
Everything in the computer need my face on it. Mega Gigabytes, son!
I'm Suprised Miami didn't foul more to extend the game
with the way both teams were shooting free throws; but, hats off to the Mavs, that was a very enjoyable finals.
Derrick Williams is going to Bust...as a Small Forward.
They gave up.
Got pegged by a Dirk layup to punctuate the W, too.
Bron needs therapy. That’s my only explanation.

How early did it happen, though?
With 1:20+ left, when LeBron jacked up the contested three as they brought it up down nine, the endgame was on. I thought from that point on the HEAT looked like they were playing things out.
Miami really didn’t have its legs under it even in the early 4th, though.
I thought Dallas had every chance to win this series – they were deep with veteran guys like Marion and Kidd, and Miami was thin – but seeing Dwyane Wade looking flatfooted, dribbling it out of bounds off his foot? They felt deflated.
Pippen's comment
is so laughable
Reduce turnovers, reduce personal fouls, shoot better, win.

There is no discussion.
Not saying there never will be, but you can’t even begin a discussion at this point.

Well thanks to bron, wade, bosh
For making it an interesting year.
Stuff like The Decision is SUPPOSED to happen to Cleveland, so it didn’t bother me much. Cleveland is the Vikings of cities.

Happiest guy in the world right now (or most satisfied)?
Stern mistakenly referred to Donald Carter as owner/founder. The true founder is Norm Sonju who spent two years of his life identifying the right expansion city in a time when the NBA wasn’t looking to expand. He chose Dallas then identified Carter who made it happen financially and 31 years later he can say he helped create history.
Sonju was the GM/ pres for 16 years and the reason the Stepian rule was put into play. He pilfered 4 first round picks from him in the early 80’s.
Congrats to Norm for seeing his dream fulfilled.

Dirk is going to get him some pizza
I couldn’t be happier for him, unless I was a huge Mavericks fan. He’s helped make the league more fun to watch, and I’m glad he’s got the hardware now.
Can't-Not-NERD-out
Yay, Dallas, and all…
But, for the love of all things sexless, this clip entitled Return of the Jedi Celebration came into sad existence a generation after many of us had finally come to terms with Wicket W. Ewock slapping a drum while Luke and Leia tried to pretend they’d never gotten babysteps away from incest. I can’t have the second b.s. trilogy confused with the first grand one, my childhoop couldn’t take it.

So many people on that team that I’m so happy to see succeed .. Dirk, Jason Kidd, JJ Barea (whom I absolutely loved, loved for our 2nd round pick in that year, no, not hindsight, I missed some but I absolutely got that one), and especially Dwayne Casey. He only made me want him back on the T-wolves bench even more.
I wasn’t against the Heat though just loved the Mavs way more. Gratz for the fantastic finals!
Hollinger gives credit to the stat geeks for the win
Also credits Casey for the defensive changes.
It would be really interesting to see a deep analysis of how the defense frustrated LeBron. Hollinger quotes LeBron as as saying that the defense took away things that he liked to do. Also says that the switch from man defense to zone at critical times took away some Heat mojo. I’d like to hear more analysis on the defensive strategies, as I’m not capable of doing the analysis myself.
Hollinger’s article:

I actually gained some respect for Bosh in that last game and the series.
He cared. He tried. He wanted to win.
