Still no decision on Rambis

289

Minnesota Timberwolves president David Kahn says he asked Kurt Rambis to write a report about the changes he would make as coach if he comes back for a third season as head coach. Kahn says he met with Rambis for four hours on Thursday night and planned to meet with him again Friday to discuss the report that Rambis turned in last week. Kahn says no decision has been made yet and he did not provide a timetable for making one. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From ESPN This is starting to get ridiculous. The extended process of this is costing the team time and opportunity. Dwayne Casey has been targeted by the Raptors as their pick for head coach. Lawrence Frank has been interviewed by the Pistons. The Rockets have already hired Kevin McHale. The fact that the Wolves have turned what should be a one step process of firing Rambis into a 12 step process of getting his life story likely says something about what's going on behind the scenes: a probable combination of not wanting to pay two coaches during a lockout and no one wanting to take the job.
