I saw on the mothership, ESPN, the Cleveland Cavaliers are not set on taking Kyrie Irving #1 overall. I know alot of this posturing and politics to for trade, and drafting purposes. Reading here, and all over the web consensus has Irving pegged as the top pick. My question is in the event the Cavs pick Williams, and you are KAHHHHHNNNN, (sorry had to do it) what do you do with the #2 pick?
Draft Irving, keep him or trade him?
Pass on Irving and select Kanter?
Trade the #2 away for other picks and/or players?
Other thoughts?
I think i would select Irving, and try to trade him for a veteran center or shooting guard, I would avoid picking up additional picks in this years draft, but would really like another pick next year since we lose ours to the Clippers. We have the youth and energy on our squad, I would like to add a solid veteran or 2 to keep everyone focused..
Let me know what you would do if you were in Kahn's sandals.
