Defensive center for the Wolves?

In my opinion the Wolves greatest need is a defensive center.  I do not think Darko is the long term answer, and I think it is a force-fit for Randolph.  While Love can body up some players at the C position, I fear in general a front line of Love/Williams/Beasley will not be able to play adequate defense.

While an established C like Okafor or Bogut would be great, I assume those teams are not in a hurry to give up their starting C.

So here is an off-the-wall suggestion: Omer Asik of the Chicago Bulls.

Asik is 11th in the league in rebounds per 48 minutes and 13th in blocks per 48 minutes.  According to 82games, his team is much better defensively with him on the floor.

With Noah in front of him, he is a luxury for Chicago.

So the question is, how highly do the Bulls value Asik, and do the Wolves have what the Bulls would want?

I remember reading rumors that HOU tried to trade for Asik during the season but CHI declined.  It seems clear that CHI would like to upgrade the SG position, which unfortunately is also a point of weakness for the Wolves.

I wonder if Pekovic would interest them, as his game is quite different than Noah and would give them a chance of pace at C.  I also wonder if Webster would be of interest at SG.

Any avid Bulls fans here with a scouting report or idea on what Chicago would want?
