A Veteran Leader - Realistic Ideas

Hi everyone on CH. I just discovered this blog before the draft, and now I'm addicted to it. Does anybody have any realistic free agency ideas? Kahn keeps talking about adding veterans leadership, but in my opinion, Brad Miller doesn't count. The only way the young guys on the Wolves will accept someone as a new leadership voice in the locker room and on the court is if he can still play. An injured center who is 4 years past his prime is not that.

How do you feel about Michael Redd? To me he seems to fit the mold of a high character veteran, plus he can still shoot the lights out. Obviously, he is on the downside of his career after his injury history, but I'd still like to see him spotting up when Rubio drives and kicks. Also, he seems to fit the mold of A) Someone who would look at the Wolves as a legitimate free agency destination (He did play in Milwaukee for years), and B) A reclamation project (I'm sure he is looking for someplace to reestablish himself after finally recovering from his injuries).

What size contract would it take to sign Michael Redd? Any thoughts? Any other realistic names to kick around that would fit the mold of a veteran leader who can still play?
