I'm not sure if this has been really discussed in one place here. But what if the unlikely happens and the Cavaliers take Derrick Williams first overall? It's not impossible. Ricky Rubio wasn't supposed to drop to #5, after all, but he did. Google "Derrick Williams Cavaliers" and there's no shortage of commentators of varying pedigrees advocating a Williams/Knight draft for the Cavs. Maybe that's just reacting to the inevitable pick of Irving, but maybe not.
So, what if Irving's on the board when the Wolves pick?
Before the Rubio uncertainty was resolved (allegedly), I suspect this question would be more one-sided. But now that Rubio's suiting up, what will the consensus be? The scorer or the distributor?
