David Joerger as a possible head coach?

Some pretty good head coaches first coached in the D leagues.  Phil Jackson, George Karl, Flip Saunders and Eric Muzzleman for example.  In four years the Minnesota raised Dave Joerger won as many D league titles as all those men combined. Four titles in four years if My information sources are correct.  bouncing back and forth between two teams the Dakota Wizards and Souix falls Sky Force.  He was then called up to be the Defensive coach for the Memphis Grizzles and during that time as all of you know, Memphis improved greatly.  Last year there Defense frustrated the San Antonio Spurs.

Memphis had changed head coaches during Joerger's time there but, the one assistant kept over was Joerger.  His only head coaching experience in the NBA has been During summer League but even there he was a winner going 5-0.  Memphis though, anticipating the lock out did not hire any of it's assistant coaches beyond June of this year so Joerger is not under contract and was considered for the Housten job that McHale got.

This is just an attempt to try to inform readers here about one of the coaching canidates besides Nellie that Zagoda mentioned in his list.  I would appreciate any corrections or additions that anyone has to make to this post as I don't know that much about him  and am not necessarily promoting him but what do some of you think or want to add?
