Weird
So the athletic guys didn’t play much with Rubio in the 1st half? AR feeds off of him and you have to believe Williams would be better off too. Makes sense to stick the unicorn with a bunch of guys glued to the ground…
That’s probably why it is best that he comes off the bench. As much as we want him to start.

Agreed
Thought Adelman was smarter than this. I hope it’s only the fact he’s just experimenting for a half/game.
I think Adelman's aware that Darko is suicidal.
THERE. I said it. It’s out in the open now and we can all discuss this like rational people.

He cut his hand dunking
On his ONE DUNK OF THE SEASON, with no one else within 5 feet of him, he chooses to break the f’ing backboard … and cuts his hand open. Considering it’s Darko, I’m shocked he even made the dunk – but everything’s bizarro on Friday the 13th.
So i asked this in the other thread, i can't watch the game so whats going on?
rubio with 5 assist? love poor shooting? dwill only 5 mins?
Im just going by espn... but i saw he got less mins the darko?

as their good hard play has not been rewarded with wins especially kevin love. Minny needs to dig deep and just keep working, and begin to blow out teams like this. If we can get win big tonight, it will go along ways for our young team.

It was strange
When he gets a pass for a spot-up it looks like he has so much extra motion. Most guys catch-jump-shoot. Wes seems to catch, swing, gather, jump, flick or whatever. Just way too much going on for a spot-up jumper off a perfect pass.

I sense a couple tripple-doubles in this kid's career.
Still have my Foye jersey. Hey- at least she TRIED! :--)

He's very good at knowing where to go when a shot goes up
I noticed this the last couple of years watching Barca.
The Wolves are like the worst meal you've ever had--terrible while you're eating it and even worse later.

He is one of the smartest players I've seen...
Shooting was maybe really his only weakness. And he’s improved that. He’s a plus defender for sure and we all see how he runs the team on O

Why are Love and Rubio tweeting each other?
Surely they must be in the same room at this point.
T'Wolves 2012: Basketball That Kills Fairies
im feeling good
cause some people realize we need beasley. the old last year beasley. i know his start is a fluke!
We need Beasely, helthy Beasely though
Last year injured Beas was pretty mediocre.
Still way better than Wes. Beas has been rebounding, too, this year. And he is more of a threat on O (like everyone else in the league)

He's not this bad a shooter, a mean regression is due.

Oh wait that was Tim Robbins’s lefty character from “Team America”. Loved that flick.

What I really liked about this game
is how we won. Take care of the ball at the end, get some movement on offense, draw fouls, sink free throws. Good teams don’t need to hit huge shots at the end of the game a lot of the time, they let the other team beat themselves. We’ve been on the other end of that so many times, it was nice to see us do it for once.

+1
With 2 players playing well, we’ve crossed the talent gap from previous years.

I'm not ready to give up on Wes completely,
but based on what I had read pre-draft, I was hoping we would get MarShon Brooks. He seems like he could help this team. Trading Flynn for the 23rd Pick was a great move, but we should have stopped there and added Brooks, who was drafted #25.
by Imyourhuckleberry on Jan 13, 2012 10:01 PM CST reply actions
the problem
was kahn trade the pick to bring adelman. but shit, marshon brooks would fill the big hole in our front court for several years.
Yeah. If my choice is Marshon Brooks and Rambis OR no Marshon Brooks and Adelman
I mean….

I don't see the Marshon Brooks = no Adelman
Does anyone else?

They kept trading down to free up money to buy out Rambis.

OK, sort of.
I think they fire him anyway.
At least I hope so…

Haunting...
SG position so lacking and he trades out of a solid SG prospect.
Let’s hope Lee makes up for it later this year, a little

Have to get it Done this Month
Kahn and Taylor have to get this one right, period. Pay KLove the max and lock this up.
Darko is gonna make such a difference tomorrow against Atlanta
.. in that he wouldn’t play much as we don’t need to play big against Horfordless Atlanta

If he scores more than 10, I will be shocked
Darko ain’t good. Liked his dunk today, though

You mean his first dunk of the season?
The dunk that was completely unnecessary because no one was trying to block him? The dunk that didn’t need to be anything more than a soft tap-in, but that he inexpicably chose to slam down with all his unshaven Serbian power, only to CUT HIS HAND OPEN and almost take himself out of the game? That dunk?
Well said
