1/16/12 Kings +7.5 at Wolves

Gotta pick Kings +7.5 but Wolves will win.

I’ve grown up here in the Sacramento area and was a Kings fan growing up as a kid, but as I became both a Kings AND Wolves fan in my teenage years, I was forced to (by my beloved friends) to pick between the 2 in the fateful 03-04 series. I ultimately chose the Wolves and never looked back. I even went so far as to root against the Kings because of all the haters around me, but we’ve somewhat shared a similar history with our “rebuilding.” I’ve gone to almost every single game when the Wolves come into town and have always been deprived of a win until when they played on my birthday last year and Beas dropped 42. Anyway, it all came back full circle when the Maloofs threatened to move the team away. Basically, that “threat” won me back over to root for the Kings fanbase and am now somewhat a fan again.

And I fully am not expecting people to care :D

Wolves by 12.

I fully expect the Wolves to win, but not cover. We tend to play down to competition and still lack a closer/killer instinct. Wolves take foot off the gas and the end, and prevail 105-99.

Kings to cover.

I’m preparing myself for all of my wildest nightmares to unfold.
Love with 30-20, Rubio with 15-10-15, Cousins fouls out with 6-6, John Salmons goes 0-9, Kings down 18 at half and 35 at the end.

I think if it’s a close game we will lose. But I think we will win so I will take the wolves.
