National Television?
Be still my beating heart.
I would jinx you
but I was a split second before you. Great minds. . .
He's Ricky Rubio. He’s not like anyone else.
That's depressing
It’d be a nice gesture if each team were guaranteed 1 game on ABC/ESPN/TNT
The ABC schedule is particularly monotonous, Chicago, Miami, Boston, Dallas, New York, Orlando, Lakers, OKC…8 teams, mix and match.
The shut-out teams this year (from ABC/ESPN)
New Jersey, Toronto, Cleveland, Indiana, Sacramento and Houston
Cleveland deserves a game
just based on how IRving is playing. Houston is also good enough that they should get one if they’re fighting for a playoff spot in a month.
Irving is pretty damn good.
Irving + Jamison = wins.. Good for cleveland.
National broadcast
Must see Wolves beat-down of the Clips!
He's Ricky Rubio. He’s not like anyone else.
You know you're getting old when..
it’s Friday night and you’re perfectly context watching the Wolves game on ESPN and hanging out on the CH board. I’m just lucky my wife understands my love of the Wolves.
At least
you didn’t type “continent.” That started a whole different conversation . . .

Fall behind early, make some runs, tie it in 4th and see if our 3’s are falling?

they always used to do that
then blow the lead
now we are seeing how the other half lives
All that matters to me is leading after 48...
And a rubioop!

fair enough, but I always get so angry and pessimistic when we play like crap in the first quarter..
The Wolves have conditioned me that way
I was having fun with my friends, drinking some beers and whisky, I leave them and came home just to watch this game...
4:15 AM here in Spain. They all call my crazy but damn… I NEED to watch this team. I don’t know if the Twolves will beat the Clippers.. but I’m sure I’m going to enjoy reading this board while I’m watching the game.

this is awesome.. I'm recing this because..
1) you left beers and whisky
2) you left your friends
3) it’s 4:15 AM and you’re watching the game
4) and you’re in Spain
yeah the part about this board though
you must be a bit crazy.

They said in ’92-93 Mark Price shot 305 FTs for the year and missed 16.
Dwight missed 18 in a single game last week.
Thought that was interesting.
He who rides a wolf cannot dismount.
I saw the GS game where they hacked a Dwight..
definitely not fun to watch, but it was effective to some extent.

Darko spinmove on blake for the dunk!
Best darko highlight.
Best color commentator in the NBA!
Him and Harlan would be the ultimate combo. Can we start a campaign to get them to announce the finals? I don’t mind Van Gundy, but he can’t compare to that.
"Only God is an expert, Ernie."
I love this outfit. Black is awesome
And make you looks thinner. Look Kevin Love, they are not going to recognize him on national TV from 2009

Mo fu@#ing Williams will not keep this up. I’m serious, one high ball screen by Pek, and he’s out of his rhythm.

I have rarely seen anyone get position as low as Pek is able to do on the offensive block. It feels like a wasted talent with him.

To be fair, ESPN doesn’t let us hear any X and O talk. Everything you hear from “wired” talk is going to be extremely simple stuff, mostly motivational.

by LobosfromMadrid on Jan 20, 2012 11:21 PM CST up reply actions
I am glad you think so :).
The stereotype would be that women in LA would be more attractive (or at least certainly more glamorous) than in Minnesota.
As a social psychologist I have to say...
1) When we get images (TV, internet,..) from US are from: DC (politics), Florida (politics as well), Texas (some death row news… politics again), NY (politics and Wall Street… that’s politics with more politics), and LA!!! (Hollywood, Pau,…).
2) We tend to remember and to be biased by good news (= LA news).
3) We overestimate the relative frequency of appearance of exotic physical traits in LA that differ from our average spanish typical traits. So, if we see a 1,9 meters redhead woman with terrific legs walking down Sunset Bv. we believe that type of woman is more common in US than she is.
4) Minni is always under ice and snow (that’s what we got from TV.. and Ricky as well before going to Minni), so everybody is wearing heavy clothes and no legs, no bums, no nothing is seen in TV to fantasized and overestimate as we do when La girls appear with Banderas, Penelope Cruz, and so on. :)
