Been There, Dumb That (sort of)
Way to go Wiz -- semi-follow the Wolves lead (or behind as it was): Flipped Out
I thought the loss to the Wolves would cost Flip his job, so some move was inevitable. I guess.
But, Randy Wittman? C'mon man!
I liked Flip. I don't feel bad for him because he's out of an impossible situation.
I'd say I feel bad for Wiz fans because they are in for worse not better most likely. They got to blow it up, get rid of the knuckle heads, and find a real coach.
Took the Wolves a long while to get on the right track...

Saw that Wittman succeeded Flip...
So first Flip, then Foye/Miller (for Rubio), now Wittman. Talk about sloppy sloppy seconds.
Geniunely feel for Wiz fans, hopefully Wittman is only the stop gap for the rest of the year until FO can explore other candidates/clean house.
This 20 year Minnesota sports title drought is starting to get absurd, especially when the 2000s was one giant blue balls.
They're going to to trade for Love + Rubio when they are both over 35
In order to push for that elusive .500 record
They didn't have much of a choice.
Wittman was Flip’s lead assistant, wasn’t he? That’s just a natural temporary fill-in. This won’t last long, I don’t think. It can’t.

There is always a choice.
But, I think this is all just temporary until the season ends. It probably doesn’t matter all that much in the minds of ownership/management since they are in full-on tank mode anyway.
Good point
Guaranteeing yourself a top 4 pick in a strong draft is probably the best plan they can execute for the future of the franchise. They will just have to hope that John Wall doesn’t get too comfortable with all of the losses.
