We might be physically close to Buckland, but I just can't get excited to play them. It seems like Stern is trying to drum up a Vikes/Packers type cross border rivalry to give some flair to the Wolves marketing. Despite that they are still drop dead boring and not who we have our sights set on.

I will maintain that our true enemy, our true rival, is the Houston Rockets.

The reason I say that is because we have basically swapped our foundations with them this offseason. They threw aside our dear coach Adelman like used kleenex. Then they greedily sucked up our discarded incompetent GM, Kevin McHale. Then to top it all off, they picked up our biggest disapointment of the past few years, Jonny Flynn.

It is like seeing all the Wolves mistakes in one place.

So the Rockets are basically saying that we are too stupid to know what we had. Despite McHale destroying this franchise over the past few decades, he is now still working in the NBA.

I really hope that when we meet Houston, we blow the out of the water. And I further hope, somewhat uncouthly, that McHale curses that franchise and brings them nothing but misery and losses, just as he did us.
