I would love nothing more than to take our pick out of the Lottery
…Stern will regret this Paul deal. Pushes EG out of town, trying to trade Kamen and now the Wolves pick will not fetch him a star.

Actually it might be rather clever
they can’t find an owner for the Hornets so they massively reduce the value of the franchise until one of those low-ball bids they rejected previously looks palatable.
that Chris Paul to the Lakers trade keeps looking better and better
Too hot to handle, too cold to hold
They're called the Ghostbusters and they're in control

Crazy thing is...
If we had beaten the Lakers we would be in a tie for the final playoff spot!
Playoffs?!?!!
I can see one of two things happening: The year continues around a .500 pace, basically making the Wolves spoiler candidates. Or, the Wolves finally put it all together all the time and go on a run none of us would have thought possible prior to now. In a way, not having our pick is a blessing, as there is no ambivalence. It’s all about winning, and that bodes well for next year, if not this year.
You can't...dust...for vomit.
And I understand there's a scenario
where the Pacific champ could get into the playoffs pushing out a team (probably from our division) with a better record.
Yo ho ho and a FirstRow stream!
yep
both the clips and lakers finish below the wolves. i could see it happening with the lakers, not with the clips. (and yes, i just wrote that sentence)

Weird numbers:
Wolves are 8-5 against the West, but only 2-6 against the East.
If we were making hay against the Leastern Conference, we’d be right in the middle of the race.
Bad losses to Cleveland, Milwaukee and Toronto
600 N First Ave "like a Pirate's cove".
Eh not too worried
Twolves still are not in full strength, and have not been able to work with their depth or chemistry with all the players. Im sure we all have confidence in this team to start tearing off winning streaks now that we have most of our players on the court (still without Barea, Darko, and Lee)
Twolves
have changed so much of their team whether it is the new acquisitions, rookies, or coaching. It will take a stretch of games for Webster, Barea, Beasley, DWill (especially), Pek, Darko (when he comes back), and Lee to fit in and play together. Having stability in Rubio and Love is going to make the process faster than most expectations that project twolves breaking out next year imo. As we saw yesterday against Houston, it was a completely different team from when it played them a week before. Not only do the players that are coming back add talent and potential, but it also allows other guys like love and tolliver especially to maximize what they do best by letting them stay fresh. Twolves are a team which thrives on energy, pressure, and making big plays. The new depth will allow this team to overwhelm teams that are not as deep and teams that are not as talented within their depth.
