We all know what MN needs. Talent and wings. So who says "no" to this trade?
Why Orlando does this trade: Hedo has one of the worst contracts in the NBA. They honestly couldn't give him away, so they have to expect to give something up along with Hedo. That being said, some people still believe in Wes Johnson, and Michael Beasley is the exact kind of player that Otis Smith might overvalue. This is probably more value than Otis Smith could ever expect to get in a Hedo trade that doesn't involve Howard. Martel and Darko are filler but serviceable backups. Martel also has an expiring contract which helps the high salaried Magic.
Why Minnesota does this trade: We take on Hedo’s AWFUL contract, but instantly become a GOOD playoff contender. Also, Hedo…while incredibly overpaid…is a welcome addition to this team considering his ability to shoot and create off the dribble. Redick fills an obvious hole and instantly becomes one of the best SG's in Twolves history! Ryan Anderson is an underrated stud who would be incredible next to Rubio. Justin Harper is a throw in.
What says you?!?!?
