Regardless of what you think of Bill Simmons, I think he has nailed the Harden dilemma.

I'm not entirely sure what the Thunder are going to do, but it's clear Harden will get max money from someone.

I think a few interesting questions to consider

1) Could the Wolves land in low-end dynasty fasion? Love's game is very similar to Dirk's in that he is a high scoring power forward, and Rubio/Pek are a pretty good 2-3 options on the team. I personally think Love and co are good enough to win something if they all stick together

2) what would you do if you were the Thunder? For me, not nessecarily to the Wolves, but I would consider moving Harden if it could land them a package like Pek and Dudley---WB,KD are great perimeter scorers, they are going to need depth and balance

3) do you think the Heat or Thunder have a better chance for a dynasty? The heat are the easy answer cause they have already won one, but I am skeptical that Wade is going to hold up

as with any topic involving trades, James Harde, Pekovic and Williams I can't resist throwing the trade machine out

personally I think Simmons under shoots Peks value, he says we'd have to trade, Pek/Williams and a top 5 protected pick for Harden---too much in my opinion, but considering the things he is throwing out how about this counter

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=8km3u8q

Minnesota: Harden and Gortat

Thunder: Pek, Dudley, Ridnour

PHX: Williams, Perkins, Aldrich+unprotected pick from Minnesota

Williams probably has to play well to make this trade viable, but I think you could probably get all parties to bite if Williams does indeed play well as PHX will likely be really bad this year+they have sketchy management and may be looking to just get as many picks+"young talent" as possible
