Texas music is the gift that keeps giving and we will be playing Houston and San Antonio later, so in the hours before today's game let's shift focus. The colorful owner of the Mavericks is Mark Cuban, so let's talk music from Havana and whereabouts.

I'll go old school. Francesc d'Asís Xavier Cugat Mingall de Bru i Deulofe was born in Spain on 1/1/1900, moved to Cuba with his family at age 5, then to New York at age 15. He gained great fame as a bandleader who popularized latin music in the USA.
