Am I the only one here that thinks this...

I'm pleased so far on how the season is going, could be better, but it also could've been drastically worse. So I give the team a passing grade.

But the to the real reason for me posting for the first time in over a year...

There has been one player in college basketball that I forsee to become a phenomenal player. That player is the guard out of Indiana: Victor Oladipo.

He's a sleeper and a player the Timberwolves really should consider come draft time. I feel like after the Big Ten season is over and its Tournament time, this guy will be known as much as Cody Zeller.

Here are his numbers

12 26.2 13.5 67.0 42.1 65.1 2.2 5.5 0.8 2.6

The guy is shooting 67% from the field! I'm to lazy to look up where most of his shots are taken, but with my eyeball test, he has a lot of transition layups, and shots at the rim. The guy is lightning quick and recgnozies the correct time to drive, and either shoot or dish the ball to an open teammate. If his defenders make a mistake, he capitalizes on it.

He's growing offensively, as his freshman year he was a role player, and second year became a better ball player, and his dunk in the Kentucky upset game was on every highlight reel.

He's really worked on his three pointer from last year as he shot 20% at a high clip from downtown and improved it to 42.1%.

However the best part of his game (imo) is his defense. Oladipo has the athleticsim to keep up with any player he's matched. The best part is that he gives a damn on Defense and puts 125% on every possession. Great lock down defender. He gets a good amount of his steals playing the passing lanes and with his speed he's gone before you know it.

I have a pretty good feeling this will be Roy's only year in a Puppies uniform and to have Oladipo learn from Ricky and Andrei....oh man. Game over.

Is there anyone else out there that has noticed his skills and wants him as much as I do!?

And I apologize for the grammatical errors in my post.
