Here they are. You know the drill: no illegal feeds, pics, or gifs.

According to Zgoda
Randolph will be DNP-CD for tonight. Probably a good choice.
"Oh my, oh my, oh my. Is that great basketball or what?" --Hubie Brown, Jan. 20, 2012
What, you mean he's inactive?
Not quite the same thing, is it? Did Randolph do something flaky, or is he nicked?
"First, I'd like to blame the Lord for causing us to lose today."
Only 12 players can be active, I’m guess Randolph won’t be one of the 12.
Michael Beasley is a sixth man. Derrick Williams is trade bait.
Roster imbalance:
Where you keep an okay PF inactive because you need your complete Swiss Army Knife of shaky wings.
"First, I'd like to blame the Lord for causing us to lose today."
Which one's the corkscrew?
I’m pretty sure Barea is the stubby can opener.

None of the blades are sharp, and the can opener's bent.
"First, I'd like to blame the Lord for causing us to lose today."
So far
Randolph, Williams and Tolliver losing the minutes as the team gets healthy. With JJ, Webster, and Beasley back, another wing is likely to join them in the losers club.
Michael Beasley is a sixth man. Derrick Williams is trade bait.
Our wings are like Woody Allen.
They wouldn’t want to belong to any club that would let them join.
"First, I'd like to blame the Lord for causing us to lose today."
(Oh, you're right. Woody must have quoted it too.)

Philadelphia versus Chicago is surprisingly uninteresting to watch. Unless you like great defense coupled with appalling rebounding.

Actually this is worth noting:
Listening to the book on CD, I think M*A*S*H may have started, at the beginning, as nothing more than a knockoff of Catch-22. There are some 4077th elements that couldn’t possibly be any closer to the book, and it was 9 years earlier than either movie.
The two Army CID men in Catch-22 carry on with antics you’d totally recognize in Colonel Flagg. And so on. It’s that whole world of the Army camp, with its various tents full of half-crazy people trying to be half-sane.
"First, I'd like to blame the Lord for causing us to lose today."

"First, I'd like to blame the Lord for causing us to lose today."
Where are you getting these ads on the page?
I remember constantly getting Zappos ads after purchasing shoes off of their website. Maybe you’re getting these ads due to information your computer has provided to advertisers. The ads they respond with may not make sense, but there may be a reason why you’re getting such weird ads.
Gary, you didn't kill your brother. Those gorillas did.

Love the way we stretched the D
by having Love and Rubio pass along the 3 point line to give Pek a true one on one
Three for eighteen
the biggest reason the Wolves don’t win. They start ice cold. They start committing too many turnovers. Don’t blame Ridnour. At least he makes a few. The golden forward has his share of miscues, already. Please don’t talk about scoring efficiency with the Wolves. They have been poor shooting at the start of games ALL season. They must lead the league in missed two-footers.
I just counted all the people making comments in this thread...

I don’t think that’s conducive. And I’d rather see AT getting Williams’ minutes. Johnson should not be playing.
I've changed my sig. The Wolves are now like a reasonably decent meal.
Webster, Beasley and Luke should play all the 2 and 3 minutes, while Love, Pekovic, Tolliver and Williams take all the 4 and 5.

AT gets a little too much love for my taste
considering he’s shooting 36% this year and is only an average defender
He does play smart in limited minutes
But the more he plays, the more he tends to try to do things he can’t.

Probably shouldn't be this lopsided
but this isn’t a Game We Should Win necessarily. They’re legitimately one of the better teams in the league this year.
I think getting worried is an overreaction. We looked like world-beaters two days ago. This happens. But yes, there might be something to the idea that we were better with a shorter rotation. I’m guessing Adelman will determine that and go to it as the season goes on.

our defense has been pathetic. Indiana has out worked us at every stage. We have let them push us out of our spots, set picks that we don’t fight through, and not rotated out to the 3 point line. I know they got a nice record but I dont think anyone really sees them as a threat
Ha, we'll just have to see.
They have a lot of above-average players. The Wolves have two. We’re not on the same talent level as they are.
Really?
What player on Indiana is “playing above their heads”? Granger and West are putting up the exact same seasons they’ve put up for eight years. George and Hibbert have taken steps forward, but they’re still young and that is to be expected. Everybody else is doing pretty much exactly what is expected of them, plus a little more because they’re a young team. Indiana is legitimately good; they’re an okay offensive team and a great defensive team. They can play, and they are the second best team in that division, hands down. When you trot out nine above-average players in your rotation, your team is bound to be good.

Horrid
Just a bad game all around. Discouraging on many levels, hard to know where to start.
1) Where’s the home cookin’? — You can’t let teams outwork you in your own building. Almost all of the Wolves worst performances (this, Cleveland and Memphis leap to mind) have been at home.
2) Stop crying and hit back – Indiana played a physical game and yes, they were getting away with a lot and it drove the Wolves nuts.. No point in whining to the refs when it’s obvious they’re not going to do anything about it. You need to fight back if you want to beat them. Winning teams don’t let themselves get pushed around. (Can you imagine Granger trying what he did with Love with Daly’s Pistons back in the day, then torching them in the second half? A guy like Mahorn would have knocked him into the fourth row before he let that happen.)
3) Another horrid shooting performance. There are too many good shooters on this team for them to miss that many makeable shots.
3) We need a Del Curry
You can't...dust...for vomit.
fightin' words
“I’ve said all along I’ve never liked the Pacers,” Love said. “I guarantee the next time we play them it will be just as physical.”
“They take those pills and they’ve got all that toughness,” Love said with his tongue planted in his cheek. “I don’t know where that comes from. They all think they’re tough guys. I just don’t know where that comes from. That just blows my mind. They’re all tough. And it makes me laugh.”
A rematch should be fun.

P.U.
Indiana did NOT play above their heads. They played really bad the first half as well. We made a run in the 3rd. They answered. We became consumed by their excellent rotation defense. How many 3’s did Love have open? DId he even attempt more than 3? Lets hope people don’t have time/defenders to watch this gametape. Because our offense looked like the Gophers in terms of rotation. It was really hard to watch.
But I give most credit it Indiana and a little to our inexperience as a whole. Still not sure why Randolph didn’t get any burn. Wes playing 18 minutes makes me wanna punch myself in the ear. He got Granger hot by playing lazy D. I’m not sure why people say he’s good at D. He’s inconsistent at best.
Its a stinker. But JJ was really bad. I trust though, that both the Puerto Rican Pecan, and our beloved Timberfish will shuffle it off.
But as an astute CHer pointed, we do suck something fierce against that horrid EC style when we can’t rotate properly.
ps. Wes Johnson is a poop.

Love attempted 3 three-pointers.
He missed all of them. The defensive breakdowns begin with the guards. Somehow, the Pacers guards were always in the paint. It was ridiculous.

This was true.
I’m not sure that Ive seen that bad of D under the RA regime.
I optimistically believe we’ll play much better next game. But its not based upon anything I saw tonight.
Weird, weird rotations.
Wife's B-day
And so I watched this one from the LP archives.
Sigh.
I can’t take Darko and Wes anymore. I just can’t. Please coach, stop this madness of playing these 2. Just give Wes’ minutes to D-Will and see if he can guard 3s or not. As for Darko, he apparently starts for the sole reason of being our best chance to win the opening tip. After that, it all depends on if he feels like playing. I know Pek’s D can be less than stellar but at least his motor is always on.
That said, the Pacer attitude was commendable and something the Wolves should take note of. I know K-Love always has a chip on his shoulder but the rest could use one as well. You have to meet and exceed your opponent’s effort and the Wolves did not do that tonight, imo, which was kinda sad given the off day and Indy traveling on a b2b. Granger was slick to watch in the 2nd half. That 4th qtr trey he nailed after running off the baseline screens was just nasty and daggered the Wolves early. I know 3s like him don’t grow on trees but he’s the type of 3 I’d love on the Wolves. D-Will has a similar game, I think.
I too am a lone wolfpack.
