The Rise of Pek vs. The Fall of Five-Hundred

I am a HUGE Nikola Pekovic fan. I love the way he's locked down the center position and is virtually perfect from the floor AND the line. How many big hulking guys can shoot free throws like Pek? It's very refreshing.

With that said, do you guys think there is ANY link between Pek's rise and the Wolves losing streak? I know he began his dominance before the streak, but it seems like they've been regressing since they started using him more. I know there is no obvious link, but could there be an unseen issue there? What would it be?

I see Pek as our starting center for a long time, and also am very aware of the rest of the teams offensive struggles, just thought I'd bring this nagging thought up for reassurance that it's not true... ha.
