Alright, I've gotta vent about something.
Why do so many non-regular posters feel the need to qualify their posts by introducing them with "I'm not a regular poster, but I've been perusing this site for the past couple of years and finally felt the need to say something..." or any variation thereof?
I don't mean to be hostile, but qualifiers are quite possibly one of the most annoying things in the world (did you like that qualifer?). Who cares if you are making your first post or your 100th post. And why care if the alumni of this site might think you are a band-wagoner if it's your first post?
I admit that some "qualifiers" are good ones... For example, "I am not a b-ball stats guy, but I can tell you based on the information my eyes send to my brain that Wes Johnson should not be starting." However, qualifiers that attempt to legitimize your position in a forum are annoying.
