Rubio Proves PER is an Arbitrary and Worthless Stat

Hollinger's PER has Rubio as the 29th ranked point guard in the league. Amongst all players, 119th. Amongst rookies, 10th. This is a fun video to watch as Hollinger steadfastly defends his sham stat while reality slaps him in the face repeatedly. For comparison's sake, WP48 has Rubio as the best rookie so far this year (http://wagesofwins.com/2012/02/24/mid-season-award-watch/) and currently the 12th best PG in the league. In the end, my point is no one stat can capture a player, but uh...any stat captures a player better than PER.
