As any Wolves fan knows the Wolves need a 2 who can shoot. Wes and Martell just aren't cutting it and are bricking so many wide open threes it makes you want to break your TV. These two players I have in mind are pretty good shooters and I think could greatly help the Wolves.
First, Courtney Lee of the Rockets. Lee is a 6'5 SG who primarily has been coming off the bench for the Rockets and been scoring close to 10 points a game. He is shooting 40% from 3 this year and 38% for his career. That is exactly the type of player the Wolves are looking for. He doesn't offer much defensive value but I don't think he would take much to get. If not he is a restricted free agent this summer and I could see the Wolves signing an offer sheet on him.
Second, Brandon Rush of the Warriors. Rush is very similar to Lee and has also been coming off the bench. However, Rush has been having quietly a great year and is shooting 52% from three land (Yes, that is higher than Wes and Martell's 3 point percentages combined). Obviously I wouldn't expect Rush to keep up this pace but for his career he shoots right around 41% from 3. I don't think Rush factors into the Warriors long term plans either as they already have Monta Ellis and Klay Thompson.
This is my two cents and I think these guys are rather low risk, high reward type guys especially for a team like the Wolves.
