Now that Phil Jackson, Jerry Sloan, Don Nelson, Pat Reily and Larry Brown are no longer roaming the sidelines, is Rick Adelman definetely the top 5 coach in the NBA? Given his pedigree, his longevity, and his historic success - and taking into account his lack of a championship - are there 5 current coaches who are better than our own Mr. Adelman? Greg Popovich is clearly the best. Rick Carlisle and Doc Rivers have been very successful AND each have a ring. George Carl? Perhaps. Is there anyone else you would take over Adelman right now? And how nice is it to have one of these on our our side for a change?
