True to a degree
but let’s face it, Pekovic was kind of a train wreck last year with the moving screens and 3-second violations. He also struggled more to finish around the hoop. In Love’s case, all the advanced stats showed that he was super productive, but Rambis and Kahn were too thick-headed to admit it until 30-30.

A good amount of us saw that Pek had some great raw talent, and hugeness. Learning how to not foul, count to 3, and adjust to the NBA in general was not that huge of an obstacle that you would expect it to keep him from being successful
His performance/stats in Europe support that this is pretty much what he has been from the start. Its just that now that he has a real coach, more experience and a better PG he has finally been able to perform up to par
