Sheridan: Kevin Love for MVP? It’s a valid argument.
I like this. You will too. Unless you're visiting from another blog.

One, he needs an editor (or at least a spell checker). “Kyke Lowry” is not a mistake you want to make (and there were others).
I completely agree about needing to get th ref’s respect. I hate to sound like a homer, but the team is not getting respect yet – Rubio in particular. Love does okay with the refs. He doesn’t get all the calls he should, but he also gets away with a fair amount too. The refs seem to acknowledge that he’s a physical player, and to let it go both both ways. But players are checking Rubio hard and he’s not getting any calls – despite doing the head bob thing to try to draw a call.
Finally, Sheridan says we need to learn to win close games. And he says he’s watched almost all of the Wolves games this year. I might be mistaken, but haven’t the Wolves been winning close games at a pretty decent clip this year. For the first time in a long time (maybe ever) I feel like if we keep it close until the end we’ve got a good shot at the wire.
re: close game aptitude
in games decided by five points or less, we started the season 0-5, then 1-6. With the NJ and Sacto wins this past week, we’re up to 3-6. Nothing to be extremely proud of. Sure, that doesn’t count the handful of games where it was tight mid/late 4th and we pulled away (first Mavs game, for instance, or the Hornets game) – but it also doesn’t count games like the one against Toronto where we let one get away late. I’d say there’s merit to Sheridan’s point.
On the other hand, we lead the league in wins when trailing at the half, so it’s not like we’re purely frontrunners or anything.
It's totally wrong of me to speculate
but I’m assuming a “kyke” is a Jewish lesbian?
Yo ho ho and a FirstRow stream!
