My thoughts on the game last night

I really didn't understand this game... I was screaming at my TV for the most part of the game...

1. Michael Beasley actually had a good night shooting and I thought he should've taken a lot more shots. I know it sounds crazy but somebody had to and he was having an average night!

2. Ricky just looked tired or unmotivated... They just hassled him the entire game... 1 assist??? Wow...

3. Pek looked lost without help down low... I think he really missed KLove down there with him... DWill does not know how to play the same way KLove does... Pek was alone for most of the night in the paint.

4. DWill should just play SF. He does not position himself as well as KLove does for the PF position.

5. WE GAVE UP TOO EARLY!!!! The starters barely played in the 4th quarter (if they played at all). I understand that we were playing on the road without our best player but this game was within reach for most of the game including the 4th quarter and it seems that RA just decided to throw the game and come back home.

In the end we only lost by 5 points... I give props to B-easy and J. J. who apparently were the only player that refused to give up and kept shooting until the end... that 3 pointer in the end of the game by Beasley just showed us all that we could've taken a W if we just kept fighting till the end...

Am I correct on my game notes or am I waaaay off??? What do you say?

Nothing to disagree with

Not sure how long you’ve been reading CH, but the best way to get a lot of comments is to say something stupid. I personally have written fanshots that got hundreds of comments!

Yo ho ho and a FirstRow stream!

Thanks TMiss...

I just recently joined CH and it’s been really fun!
I truly like sharing my opinions and comparing it to other readers…
I will try your approach next time! It didn’t really help that they are hiding the posts now!

That's Stupid!

I’m kinda losing confidence in the “say something stupid” trick. Of course, some of things I write might be so ridiculously stupid that no one bothers to comment.

Ricky Rubio needs to have Jonny Flynn as a mentor!

I'm going to brag. I drive the Nikola Pekovic fanwagon.

Physical play

This game reminded of the Indiana game. This game really had that “nothing comes easy” feel to it. Which makes me really doubt our ability to win a playoff series (I know cart before horse) as everything gets more physical later in the year.

I wonder if we need a physical presence/edge on our team. And no, I don’t mean pek. I mean a guy like perkins or raja bell. Emphasis on like them, not actually them.

"that 3 pointer in the end of the game by Beasley just showed us all that we could've taken a W if we just kept fighting till the end"

I thought it showed that Memphis didn’t care what we did with less than 1 second left in an 8 point game.

That was a “warm-up” 3. The only thing defending the shot was the basket…

I was interested in see what Pek could do

against a guy like Marc gasol (a tall, skilled, strong, smart very good defender and now all star).

Al least there are not a lot of players lik him. I want to see him agaist his brothes too.

I didn't mean it, i was forced by the little people living within my head.

to be fair

I thought Pek was ok against him, we just couldn’t get him the ball.

Part of the reason he was so effective against SAC

was that he got such ridiculously good position, they had to get him the ball. Against Gasol, he was in more reasonable post up position. Still was our best option for the most part though.

Pek was alone in the paint

Pek couldn’t find any space near the rim… they had him surrounded most of the game. I still think he did pretty good. Plus he made Gasol get in foul trouble early, just like Sac game.
