Two interesting articles on hoopsworld about the "reported' availablity of certain players around the league. I know people bore of my trade theories, so I won't put anything like that up but there are some interesting names that are available. I'm pretty busy with work today so there is a good chance I won't flood the post if people want to have an actual discussion about available players.
Lot of interesting names that are available and we've talked about a lot of them but some of note: Marvin Williams, Chase Budinger, OJ Mayo, Eric Gordon (interesting indeed), Daniel Gibson, Jimmy Butler (like him a lot), Monta Ellis (though I doubt we'd be able to do anything with him, kinda the awkward: won't trade Williams for him and everything else is too low ball).
One name I've liked for awhile is Rodney Stuckey. I brought him up in the offseason but chilled on it due to many of you pointing out he's had one good season, but he is now in the middle of another pretty good season. Still not a great three point shooter, but he's a full sized SG (even if he's more of a natural point) would give us another creator and ball handler. Not suggeting we throw Williams at him.....Beasley though? Still not a great 3pt shooter but he has improved.
These hoopsworld guys may be plugged in but I can't imagine this list is gospel by any means...but it's a good source to reference when we look at the potential availability of some of the players we're looking at
Also if Rondo is on the move there might be some 3-4 team trades in the works....something to look into to fleece a player out to help with salaries
