Since the 1985-1986 season, there have been 5 games where one player has had a Points/Rebounds/Assists triple-double and another player scored 50 or more points. However, just yesterday Kevin Love and Jose Barea were the first pair of teammates to do it in the same game.
Curiously, no player has scored 50 or more points and had a triple-double, but Larry Bird scored 49 with 14 rebounds and 12 assists in a win over the Blazers in 1992, at the age of 35.
