A knee-knock away

I was going to youtube the Kobe-Ricky play that ended the real Wolves season and lead with that. But, I am guessing we all can vividly play that over and over in our heads already.

How far they came and now how far they have fallen -- reduced to locker room sniping after another bad (is that the right word?) loss.

This season was so half-great, reaching a crescendo of above .500 ball, an eighth place standing (or did they go 7?), and a trio of stars -- yes stars -- in Love, Rubio, and Pek to rely on night in, night out.

I really can't feel sad or angry or indifferent as I have in past years. It is what it is that knee knock.

And now, this is where Kahn has to earn his $. With luck, a draft pick helps secure a real wing. But clear the knuckle heads, somehow get something/anything in return for Wes, and amnesty Darko, too.

With that healthy trio and good supporting players like JJ, Luke, Caged Lion, and (new players), this team will be very good -- night in, night out.
