- Mark Remme of Timberwolves.com wrote an article on the Wolves Top 5 Offseason Objectives. They include: Regaining team health; the rookies taking the next step; a big offseason for Nikola Pekovic; taking advantage of the team's 1st round pick; and making smart decisions on free agents.

Around the NBA
- The Brooklyn Nets unveiled their new logos, which part-owner Jay-Z helped design.
- Los Angeles Lakers' forward Jordan Hill was charged with felony assault after allegedly shoving and choking 28-year-old Darlene Luna, who Hill had been dating for about two years.
- The Charlotte Bobcats decided not to renew Paul Silas' contract. The Bobcats finished 7-59 this season, which was the worst winning percentage in league history (.106). Silas leaves Charlotte with a 32-88 overall record.
NBA Playoff Recap
- The Miami Heat defeated the New York Knicks, 104-94, to take a 2-0 lead in their first round series. Dwyane Wade led the Heat with 25 points, while Carmelo Anthony scored 30 for the Knicks.
- In one of the lighter moments of the Heat-Knicks game, Mike Bibby lost his shoe, and Dwyane Wade tossed it into the crowd.
- After the Heat-Knicks game, forward Amar'e Stoudemire apparently punched the glass enclosure of a fire extinguisher, which lacerated his hand. He left the arena with his left hand bandaged and his arm in a sling. He is doubtful for Game 3.
On his Twitter account, Amar'e said, "I am so mad at myself right now, I want to apologize to the fans and my team, not proud of my actions, headed home for a new start," - The Indiana Pacers, behind a 30-13 3rd quarter, won Game 2 at home to even the series. Four different players scored 18 points, but three of them (David West, Danny Granger and George Hill) were on Indiana, while Glen Davis was the only member of the Magic to do that. The final score was 93-78.
- Another terrific game between Dallas and Oklahoma City ended with a second Thunder victory, 102-99. Russell Westbrook scored 29, Durant added 27 and the Thunder now have two playoff victories by a total margin of 4 points.
