Additional item of note:

The Wolves really did a wonderful job of piggybacking on the Vikings bill to receive funding for a $150 mil renovation of Target Center. This effort was led by CFO Ted Johnson, who not only managed to keep the team's involvement under the radar, but avoided the sticky PR situation of the team coming back to the trough on its own.

Removing any thoughts about stadiums financing or the pro sports bubble, this was very well played by Johnson and the Wolves. There are certainly people who know what they're doing over at 600 First Avenue. If only we could get more of them in Basketball Ops.
