- Oklahoma City's James Harden won the 2011-12 Kia NBA Sixth Man Award. He received 115 of a possible 119 first place votes. Louis Williams of Philadelphia (3) and Taj Gibson of Chicago (1) were the only other players to receive first place votes.
- San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee sent a letter on Friday to the Golden State Warriors saying that he would like to bring the team to San Fran in time for the 2017-17 season.

Playoff Recap
- The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Boston Celtics in a close-to-unwatchable game, 82-81. The series is tied at 1-1 heading to Philly.

- Cole Aldrich played 9 minutes last night. That's all you really have to say to know what happened in the Oklahoma City Thunder-Los Angeles Lakers game. The Thunder destroyed L.A. by a score of 119-90.
