- The Minnesota Lynx finalized their roster down to 11 players by waiving guard Queralt Casas and forward Julie Wojta.
- The Lynx home opener is this Sunday, May 20th at 11:30 AM. The game is being broadcast on ABC,

- A new NBA Competition Committee was formed and will consist of coaches Doc Rivers of Boston, Rick Carlisle of Dallas and Lionel Hollins of Memphis; owners Dan Gilbert of Cleveland and Joe Lacob of Golden State; and GMs Bryan Colangelo of Toronto, Sam Presti of Oklahoma City, Mitch Kupchak of the Lakers and Kevin O'Connor of Utah.
- The city of Seattle announced Wednesday that there is an agreement on a plan for a new basketball arena. Investor Chris Hansen, a hedge-fund manager from San Francisco, is the main investor on the project. The plan calls for about $290 million in private investment form Hansen, along with $200 million from the city and county through 30-year bonds.
- The NBA fined Devin Ebanks $25,000 for his actions prior to and following his ejection from the Lakers' Game 1 loss, and fined Andrew Bynum $15,000 for failing to make himself available to the media following the Lakers' practice on May 15th.

Playoff Recap
- Kevin Garnett had another vintage performance with 27 points and 13 rebounds, and the Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 107-91. The Celtics take back homecourt advantage and now lead the series 2-1.
- Nice pass, Rondo.
- The Oklahoma City Thunder were down 7 with 2 minutes left in the game, but came back and won 77-75 over the Los Angeles Lakers. Kevin Durant hit the game winner for OKC.
- In an ironic twist, Steve Blake took the game-tying shot for the Lakers, not Kobe Bryant.
- After the loss, Kobe was very upset, but one Laker seemed to be laughing on his way off of the court.
- Tonight's games are Miami/Indiana at 6 PM CST and LA Clippers/San Antonio at 8:30 PM CST, both on ESPN.
