Happy Father's Day, Canis Hoopusers!

Hey there, sons/daughters/fathers. I thought this might be a nice time to share your most memorable memory regarding your dad, and basketball/Timberwolves/sports/life.

Oh, and if you can, don't forget to call your dad today (those who can't will tell you how lucky you are to be able to do so).

A couple of mine come to mind:

1. Playing HORSE with my dad in the driveway, and realizing at an early age that his set shot was all he had, and then having him beat me often with a "granny" style free throw.

2. Being in 3rd grade on the court at the Saturday morning "Y" league, and hearing some maniac screaming "GET IT GET IT GET IT", and looking up to see my dad leaning over the railing, almost falling on the court (I still have yet to "GET IT")

3. After a childhood of off-brand a cheap basketball shoes (Yay, PONYs!), when I played in high school my dad broke down and let me buy one of the first pairs of Adidas Top Tens (red, white, and blue, completely clashed with our school colors, I didn't care). My joy quickly turned to chagrin when I realized that if you're going to wear the most expensive basketball shoe, you better be really good. I wasn't, and received much more derision than I normally would have for my middlin' skills.

Okay--what else you got for us?
